Yara Fall Classic
To All Volunteers of the Yara Fall Classic,
I want to thank everyone once again for your help this weekend in putting
on another tremendous meet. We surpassed everyone's expectations by
finishing when we did. And, we could not have done this without all of your
support.
Our Club has such a good team in place that this year we did not even
have to use the walkie-talkies. Everyone knows their job and does it
so well that it makes me look SO good and I thank you for that.
Special thanks to Nicole Cooney (Alberta), Mark Forbes (Moose Jaw),
Graeme Fish (Moose Jaw), Alex Fish (Moose Jaw), Marcus Richards (Regina),
Margaret Walraven (Regina), Brent Gelsinger (Regina), and our guest referee,
Trevis Boyd (Manitoba) for stepping up to the plate and helping us out.
As well, thanks to the skaters who were injured and could not skate, or
came out to assist when they were not skating: Ian, Adam, Michal, Chelsea,
Jon, Alex, Sean, Sheridan, Victoria, Amber, Ashley and friend Alisha,
Roslynn, Taylor, Linden, Christina, Amy and Nyka. And, if I missed
anyone, my apologies and a big thank you.
Now, you can take a breather and I'll be coming around asking you to sign
up to work at the Long Track meet in January. Remember, sign up early to get
the spot you want to work.
